Your application is filed with the Trade Marks Registry; you may use the ™ symbol once filed.

The Registry examines the mark and may issue an examination report (objection) to be answered.

If accepted, the mark is published in the Journal for a four-month opposition window.

/ 05

With no successful opposition, the mark proceeds to registration and you receive the certificate.

/ 06

Registration lasts ten years and can be renewed indefinitely in ten-year terms.
